Winter Weather is upon us again with what appears to be our most significant storms in a number of years, followed by some of the coldest temperatures, for the longest stretch that we have had in years. Please remember the following during this Winter Storm:
*If you have a driveway, please use it.
*Wait until the storm is over to begin shoveling your driveway apron or around your car.
*If you cannot wait until the storm is over, always deposit snow to the left of your driveway when facing your house as you shovel out your driveway.
*DO NOT, under any circumstances, throw any snow back into the street, as you will be issued a summons for Municipal Court and you will be fined accordingly.
*You are required to clear your sidewalks within 24 hours after the end of the storm. Failure to do so will result in the issuance of a summons for Municipal Court and you will be fined accordingly.
*If there is a hydrant in front of your home, please assist our Fire Department by clearing out around the hydrant.
