A Message from the County Recycling Coordinator:

Due to a severe driver shortage OTC will not be able to service Riverside Township until Tuesday, June 1st. The month of June will present a serious service challenge because the federal exemption that allowed OTC drivers to work more than 60 hours per week will expire on May 31, 2021. OTC Drivers were routinely working over 60 hours per week since last summer. OTC has been aggressively hiring and using a “temp” agency, but due to a national driver shortage it has been very tough to find and retain drivers. We will be posting schedule delay information on the county website Facebook Page and sending notices via Recyclecoach.

OTC is looking for CDL – Class B drivers with air. Resumes may be emailed to Jim at jmcgurl@otc.bc.org . For questions Jim can be reached at 609-267-6889 ext. 154.

Residents can utilize the Township recycling drop off located at 300 Monroe Street if need in the interim.
